  As a long time New Mexican, this is becoming my favorite restaurant. Service is fast, Chile is hot, beer is cold. What's not to like?

  Today I mistakenly called the wrong phone number placing an order to go with Plaza Cafe (54 Lincoln Ave.) instead of Plaza Cafe (3466 Zafarano Dr.). Upon arriving at Plaza Cafe (3466 Zafarano Dr.) I was informed my order was not there. I explained and apologized for the apparent mistake and asked Belinda Marshall, who said she was an owner, if I could have a menu to place a new order with her. Ms. Marshall refused, demanding I drive 20 minutes/ 5.7 miles to Plaza Cafe (54 Lincoln Ave.) and pick up my original order. I apologized again for my mistake, explained I couldn’t make the drive and even suggested that we could cancel the order accidentally placed at Plaza Cafe (54 Lincoln Ave.). Ms. Marshall told me I was doing the Plaza Cafe wrong and that she had the right to refuse my business leaving me empty handed. It was embarrassing and I felt like I was being punished for making an honest mistake.
  
  I later called to see if I could let any other owners know what happened. I was told by what sounded like a waitress or hostess that a man named Leonard Razatos is the primary owner. When I asked the woman on the phone how I could reach Mr. Razatos, a different voice chimed in stating simply “You don’t.”. This different voice sounded like Ms. Marshall's, and when asked if it was her, she confirmed it was indeed (her listening in on the other line)! I then asked Ms. Marshall for Mr. Razatos’ phone number and she declined the request.

  Interesting mix of different architectures and styles; food was good, green chile surprisingly not bad, prices decent. Think old drive in diner meets Cafe and sit down restaurant, with a bunch of old neon tube lighting. Very cool.
